Meetings: Twice in a year
Functions:
- Assurance of timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic and administrative tasks.
- Documentation of the various programs/activities of the institution leading to quality enhancement in order to facilitate consistent preparedness for NAAC accreditation.
- Development and efficient maintenance of Institutional database which is the indicator of institutional quality.
- Preparation and submission of
the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the institution in the
prescribed format based on quality parameters.
- Implementation of effective feedback mechanism and analysis of the responses from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional practices.
- Identification, development and implementation of quality parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
- Dissemination of information regarding the various quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
- Proposals for new courses with job potential
- Recommendation for research-related activities.
- Discussion of possibilities of networking and having MOUs with Industries. Departmental Quality Circles (DQC):
Heads and faculty members of each department.

Functions
- Promotes ‘Quality Culture’ in the institution through ‘Quality circles’.
- Plans, executes and reviews the activities of the department.
- Reviews and revises/introduces the syllabi of various courses/ new courses through Board of Studies.
- Ensures the relevance and quality of academic and research programs.
- Facilitates a learner centric environment conducive to imparting quality education.
- Integration of modern ICT methods of teaching and learning.
- Adopts new and best practices to bring out the best from advanced and slow learners.
- Promotes global competencies and holistic development of students.
- Facilitates annual academic auditing.
- Arranging field trips to nearby places / Educational tours to industries and Higher Educational Institutions, promoting experiential learning.
